Russian Poker Tour Kiev. The Winter Cup of Ukraine. The first tournament of 2011.

February 3-11, Kiev, Ukraine.

Hello, friends! So, RPT comes back to Kiev to hold its first tournament in 2011. The tournament is held together with the National Poker Federation of Ukraine and that is why it is called the Winter Cup of Ukraine.

In the new year we can expect the bestsellers like Main and Grand events as well as new formats of the tournaments: Heads Up and Omaha 6 Max.

MAIN EVENT $2500 (2300+200): Stack is 30000, 60-minutes levels in the first day and 75 minutes in the next days.
Expected number of the participants: approximately 250. Smooth distribution of the prize fund, without huge differences. 4 big satellites on Main, including the new format ($250 1RorA) in the place. The main event starts on Sunday, February 6. Guarantee $400,000!

GRAND EVENT $900 (820+80): Stack is 15000, 60-minutes levels. Grand event is not a side event, many people come to RPT due to this tournament because you can’t find such a buying/prize ratio anywhere else. Remember that the tournament has 2 entry days, if you drop in the first day or gathered a stack that does not comfort you, then you can register on the second day. Expected number of participants/entries is approximately 350. Guarantee $200,000!

RUSSIAN HEAD’S UP BATTLE $700 (640+60): stack is 5000, levels are 30 minutes each. A massive Heads Up tournament due to the requests of numerous players. A satellite will be added to this tournament in the 6 max format.

OMAHA 6 MAX $550 (500+50): stack is 10000, levels are 45 minutes each. The Omaha tournament on short tables in the double chance format. Exactly this kind of format fits the dynamic and aggressive Omaha most of all.

Participants: Finally, apart from the usual faces from CIS, we will meet guests from different foreign countries.
If you had been present at the Grand Finale RPT in November then you could have seen the groups of players from Slovakia and Germany. There will be many new players coming to the February RPT tournament who have already heard about beautiful Kiev.
We hold a special advertising campaign in Europe and bring players by groups to Kiev. We expect approximately 250 participants at the Main Event and 350 at the Grand Event.

Structure of the tournaments: Our structure differs from all other tournaments, even side events at RPT are held using balanced and deep structure that allows to play poker and not lottery. We are the first ones, back in Russia they started to hold tournaments with deep and smooth structure, this tradition is preserved even now.

RPT Paintball Battle: This time we decided to make a trip to the paintball tournament. Now you can shoot )) the man who totally beat you at the poker table. I think that the paintball tournament among poker players will become an interesting event.

Hotel “Rus”, where the tournament will be held, is located in the very centre of Kiev, 5 minutes away from the Bessarabka district, on the Hospital street 4. “Rus” is a wonderful hotel and not expensive at the same time. They provide discounts for the guests of RPT. The price of a standard room is 60 euros including the discount. An additional hotel is also available – 5 “Premier Palace”. The price is 150 euros for the players.
Apartments:
As always, Kiev is ready to propose you a huge number of apartments that are for hire daily. The price is approximately $40 a day.

RPT je SUPER. naozaj je tam dost hracov a preto pomer medzi vkladom a moznou vyhrou je vyborny.
Kedze skoro vobec na tejto serii nehraju kvalifikovane internet mysky, tak je velmi kvalitna hra a po turnaji sa do CG zapaja 95% hracov - cash je velmi dobry!
Jedine negativum - priemerny rusky a ukrajinsky hrac je asi 2x lepsi ako priemerny SK hrac

Áno a priemerný ukrajinský mafián je tiež lepší ako slovenský. Na Ukrajinu by som nešiel hrať ani keby mi za to platili hodinovú mzdu.
Viem si to tam predstaviť samá holá hlava a zlata na krku ako v klenotníctve.
