A player is deemed to have contributed to the rake taken, on a pro rata basis (by number of players rather than amount staked), if he/she contributed to the pot in a hand. For example, if there are 6 players dealt a hand but only 5 contribute money to the pot, each of the 5 players will be deemed to have contributed 1/5th of the rake taken, regardless of the amount staked by each player. This would apply even if, say, one of these was the small blind but folded his/her cards. Therefore in a $100 pot with $3 raked, this would be $0.60 of deemed rake per player.
